They are seeking a Financial Accountant II to take a key operational accounting role within one of the company's U.S. manufacturing plants. This is a high‑visibility opportunity to support plant leadership, strengthen financial processes, and drive operational discipline in a fast‑paced production environment.
Accountant II Key Responsibilities
• Manage month‑end/quarter‑end close, financial reporting, audits, and tax filings.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, standard costs, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for plant leadership.
• Review capital projects, fixed‑asset accounting, and related financial controls.
• Ensure accurate payroll accounting, reconciliations, and period‑end entries.
• Maintain GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate across plant functions while supporting the Controller.
Accountant II Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 5-8 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
